City of Blinding Lights

Went to see U2 360 Tour at Suncorp Stadium tonight ... words cant really do justice to the magnitude of the stage set up ... never seen anything like it and doubt I'll see anything like it again ... the lighting and sound was also amazing. A truly monumental gig ... after 34 years on the go, U2 can still pull in c. 100,000 folk over 2 nights ... on something like the 70th night of the tour ...

... anyway, just had the BlackBerry to take pics so not too great. Here the video screens have expanded and dropped down close to the stage during "City of Blinding Lights". In the spotlight, front right, Bono is out on the circular walkway over the crowd.

A great gig it was, but I'm sure the Friends of UTG fundraiser at The Tunnels on 29th December will be equally impressive !
