Has kept me going through the day of walks, bus journeys and the various slippings and slidings that have come my way.

Some more of the modern classical type stuff today on my faithful kitchen-based stereo. Yesterday's blip really made me think of the fantastic Treny album by Polish musician Jacaszek which is really astonishingly good. I'd nearly go as far as to say jaw-dropping, but after a background of working in record shops, writing reviews and website content I'm well aware of such hyperbolic statements being far too commonplace. But this time I really mean it.

Was meant to be going out to see a film tonight, one that has had marvellous reviews right across the board, but sometimes when you get home you just want to stay there, you really do.
