La Ropa Beach

We discovered our new favorite beach today, La Ropa. It is a short, though steep, 15 minute walk from our home in Quinta Camelinas. The beach is perhaps a mile long, but has a perfect curve like Copacabana in Rio or Waikiki in Hawaii. It is equally as beautiful and much less crowded. No high rise hotels, only a half dozen or so beach side restaurants. The hotels surrounding the beach are, for the most part, on the hillsides. It makes for an ideal place to while away the day, which we managed to do in grand style.
