Arctic monster
It is churning overhead in a cyclonic motion, dumping between 14 and 16 inches on us in one storm, forcing the small, powdery flakes to go sideways at times. The up-to-50 mph wind gusts tomorrow will do with the final snow totals whatever it shall. Wind chills will be in the -40 degree range. Needless to say, no noses will see the other side of any doors till Monday, when the aftermath will be dealt with, one giant snowdrift at a time.
That ten inch base I was wishing for is coming along nicely now.
