Oyster Fungus (again)

Busy day today..the fuse went on the car windscreen washers and, being mechanically minded, decided that I would fit it myself. Normally this would have been a 2 minute job but I reckoned without the designers and handbook writers at Citroen. I found that you need at least a Phd in Mechanical Engineering to remove the cover of the fuse box..this task eventually solved by using a 2 foot long screwdriver. The fitting of the fuse was simple BUT replacing the cover needed the same Phd plus a great deal of swearing.
The washer now works but the Citroen mechanic at the dealership where I bought the car told me to replace the 10 amp fuse (recommended by the handbook) with a 15 amp.."they're always blowing when it gets cold". Quite why, I 'shudder' to think. If you hear of Wild One being incinerated in a car accident you'll know why.
