I've always loved film

I've always loved film, particularly black and white. Last year I started doing my own developing and printing, and this is how I spent my morning.

This tin roll contained memories of the past month - making a castle with my daughter, her dressing up day, some adventures at the woods and a day of relaxing watching films and eating popcorn. A good month, and some backblips to follow when I've scanned the ones I want.

I know many pro-digital people talk about the immediacy of digital versus the inconvenience of film, but I find the whole film thing very satisfying. Plus, there are many lovely old film cameras out there waiting for me.
