X-Factor Winner 2010

The finalists were:

Simon Cowell was convinved One Direction were going to be the first group to win X-Factor - the first time Simon has mentored a group. It was great to see him completely stunned when they only came third.

Rebecca has a really unique singing voice (a bit like a bird warbling). I agree with Loius that she will probably be the most succesful of the contestants worldwide.

One Direction will obviously also be a big hit, particularly in the UK. It doesn't really matter who wins from that point of view, but it probably helped Matt's future career more than the other two - perhaps that's why he got all the votes.

The changed a few things this year, like having 16 contestants in the live show, which was just too much. Also, I can't believe the didn't have a big bands night - the highlight of the series for me.
