Spinning Lights I
With the wet weather now fully upon us here in the Pacific Northwest, I'll have to get creative when deciding what to shoot for my daily Blip. Typically I resort to light painting or extreme macros and, since my DIY macro tube isn't quite perfected yet, I am going with light art for the next few days.
Here I simply hung a balled-up string of white Christmas lights and used a green, blue, and red Wratten filter during a long exposure. Although it provided the desired multi-colored effect, I stacked three different versions in Photoshop and used the Hue blending mode to create today's image.
