Catching the light

Morning illumination at 9am: I dashed out to try and capture the effect of the early sunshine a little way down the lane. The airforce blue sky which presaged the dull day to follow is almost exactly the same colour as the sea, just be visible in the distance, while to the left the cliff-top community of Harbour Village catches the first morning rays.

I like the effect of the telegraph poles carrying the all-important thread which connects me to the world beyond my small world. Without it I would feel very isolated.

(Sometimes a buzzard sits on top of the pole but unfortunately not today.)
