Coffee Edge: Maria

This is Maria.

Her parents came to live in Australia from Italy when she was five years old, searching for a better life. They settled in the west of Melbourne, where she has lived ever since.

Maria now runs a cafe called "Coffee Edge" in Yarraville with her own son, who was born and raised in the area too.

We've stopped into Maria's cafe every morning on the way to the station from our friend's house - and the coffee is simply superb.

I guess being Italian, she knows a thing or two about how to make it just right!
