Christmas in Hexham

Busy day today. It was the Christmas "do" for our Singing for Pleasure group this afternoon. Lots of people came to make up the audience and the choir sang very well. For many people it was the first Christmas event they had been to; so many had been cancelled due to the weather.

On my way home from the Photo Club this evening I snatched this image of Hexham Abbey on my little compact camera. I like the blurry effects and the softness of the image, although I know it is no great shakes technically. Must go one evening with the tripod.....
