Marys Peak
A cold and icy morning. On my way into town I passed an accident. A pickup hit an icy patch and ended up on its drivers side in the road. No one hurt thank goodness. Then just over the hill from that I noticed "the Peak" had a new blanket of snow on her. The sun was shining and the sky was blue, just a pretty picture I thought. So I pulled over as far as I could, no real shoulder on this road, and got out and almost fell on my butt! Good thing I didn't. Don't want to break that camera. Any day you can see Marys Peak in the winter is a good day, because she usually has a cloud cover over her.
Marys Peak, at 4097 feet, is the highest mountain in the Coast Range.
