Christmas cards and blizzards
This morning the sun was shining and the white stuff had spread itself again. After taking a few possible blips on the way to the shop across the fields I decided to choose this. After lunch, the dog Tess and I went for a walk in a blizzard to deliver a Christmas card to this cottage. It is amazing how the world changes: silence, no traffic, back to Victorian times. It seemed we were the only two on our patch of the planet until in the distance two figures appeared, the dog seemed slightly nervous but the two girls were friendly and went on their way.
More snow forecast for tomorrow. Luckily Tim was able to get down to the butcher to collect the meat for the next few days.
