repair?

Several weeks ago my parents had a new front door installed. it was poorly done at best. the door handle on the outside. wasn't installed right either. the wrong size screw was used so it stripped the hole for the screw to go in. Thus another repair was needed to fix this. this picture is of the *repair* done to the door handle. a *brad* was put on the inside of the door to cover the screw going through it too the other side, but in the process, it was put so tight that it cracked and indented the door.

So many lessons to be learned here, i'm not even going to go into them. But know for sure i'm really irritated at how my parents have been treated and the total disrepair their house has been left in from people hired to do work then do work that is complete crap. i'm just tempted to do a blip series on the crappy work that they've paid for..

i'm just glad this house isn't electric heated..otherwise the bills would be astronomical because of the crappy repair/remodel work.
