Those were the days !!

Ten Shillings, arfer quid, ten bob, all names for the same thing,(Any other names for it ?) when this was Legal Tender, back in 1970, you could buy quite a lot with this Banknote.Two gallons (9 1/2 litres) of petrol, 4 pints of best Bitter, I could go on , but hope some of you will go down Memory Lane and say what you remember you could buy for Ten Shillings.......
