Mama's hat

P keeps warm in my hat. I've been a life-long hat lover and wearer. Here's hoping my girl takes after me in that respect. She certainly looks terrific in them.

It's been snowing heavily all day. She and her father were out on the terrace hanging up Christmas lights. I've been in the kitchen girding my loins for a frenzy of baking.
