Dried roses
Today, as expected, was grey, bitterly cold and ice everywhere. Only went out to help our neighbour clear our hill of ice and to feed the farm cats. Opened a card from friends who live near Trysil, Eastern Norway, who said their daughter put off meeting her friends in the forest to eat porridge and drink coffee because it was far too cold - well the temperature over there was not much colder than we were last night! The water pipes to the water troughs were frozen again.
Today I have had enough of snow so here is a picture of some dried roses which were alive and fresh during the summer!
