Day 18

Rule #19 Sometimes, the easy way is the best way

Our last full day dawned bright and clear so we had a day on the beach. J had a long swim, we had a long walk to a beach bar about 4 miles away. Because of the state of the tide we knew we were going to have to walk inland back to our Pousada, a walk we remembered as very very long and hot. So with undisguised glee we came across the 'tractor bus' about to set off over the island (basically tractor towing trailer with seats in.) It was the best use of 10 reis all holiday.

Episodes of 24 watched = 21
Lowest night temperature = 24C
Highest day temperature = 29C
Insect tally (so far) - J =3, me = 0 (so I keep getting reminded!)
Calories consumed = too many
Runs = 2 (I know, not enough)
Crabs seen and avoided = far too many
