Away In A Manger

It truly is Christmas. It must be as Satans Minions had their very first nativity play this afternoon. Two of the Minions had key roles in the choir, two of the others came to watch and the junior division stayed at home (a whole school performance is a lot for adults to sit through, for babies it is tantamount to a life sentence).

Nursery and the infants were up first and did a very cute bit about the nativity story- music provided by nursery, acted by P1-2 and narrated by P3. The kids did an outstanding job and the senior Minions in the choir sang very nicely and behaved beautifully. There was the usual nose picking by one of the shepherds and one of the little cherubs in the front row seemed determined to turn her skirt into a cumerbund but no tears, toilet breaks or tantrums so all in all a success.

P4-5 and P6-7 also did a musical/dramatic production and then there was the raffle. All in all the whole shebang lasted an hour and a half so we were mighty impressed by the intermediate Minions who sat through the entire thing and only asked if it was nearly finished 24 times.
