A Nice Cup of Tea?

No -- that's a neti pot, not a tea pot. It's used to clear congested sinuses by pouring saline solution into one nostril and letting it run out through the other one. I was very skeptical when I first heard about this, but after I tried it I was surprised how easy it was, and how much it reduced that stuffed-up feeling.

I started feeling poorly -- cough, sore throat, sinus congestion -- after the meeting in Seattle yesterday, and I felt worse today. It was a lovely sunny day but I didn't feel like going out.

I made myself a toddy around five o'clock (whisky, hot water, honey and lemon juice*) and might have another at bedtime.
