Kendal's colourful houses

Walked into Kendal today and up towards the castle just as the sun was going down. These houses always get my attention. They run alongside the river Kent and today as the sun went down it highlighted the vivid colours that i like and reflected them back so well into the river.
Been without heating for the last couple of days but back up running today thanks to a very busy gas man. Came back from the walk to a warm house, mulled wine, Christmas cake and a film. Lovely!
