Sandside Christmas eve

Mila and i took a walk this afternoon to Sandside. Read in the local gazette this morning that the estuary was frozen for the first time in 30 years.
When we got there the views were amazing. Never before had i seen such views from here in the UK. We could have been in the arctic circle. Big boulders of frozen water lay still in the water occasionally getting swept by the tide towards the sea. Made me feel like an explorer just for the afternoon.
