Things we take for granted

Today's blip is hot water gushing out my tap! I am so happy to have my pipes thawed out and apparently no bursts.
Other people in my village have had the same problem. Minus 15 is too much for the average Scottish plumbing.
We take flushing toilets and water on tap very much for granted until they are not there.
My youngest son arrived safely tonight from the Isle of Lewis do we are just about ready for Christmas.
Am buying a Fuji finepix and it might arrive, if I am very lucky, tomorrow. Much better blips soon!
