Poor Postie

What doesn't much show in this shot is the depth of the snow. The postie couldn't walk on the pavements, when I was watching him get from the road to each house, he was almost to his knees. This isn't a wee short man either, he's tall and gangly (y'know one of those awkward characters) and he was lugging around not one but 2 bags. He must be wondering what the hell he's doing delivering cards of people who don't see one another from one year to another and junk mail.

Poor Guy.

Tonight my hubby has spent over an hour digging round our car from last nights snowfall, I couldn't get out. Kids and I been in ALL day today and if we'd not got out tomorrow we'd have been here till Monday. Eeek cabin fever!
