A Birmingham Adventure - Part Two

And today I did make it to the very snowy German market (albeit feeling slightly fragile). Hurrah!! :D

I will admit to sinking quite low last night. Excessive drinking and excessive thinking are never a good combination with me, and couple that with a lonely hotel room it was always going to be difficult. But I am so lucky to have had the people I love around me, to ease the pain slightly and carry me through - as well as making me take ridiculous oaths at silly hours of the morning ;) So thankyou - you know who you are ;)

And after much needed brunch I finally got the the market and finally had my hot chocolate and amaretto - only after getting ID'd mind you, by a lovely German lady who clearly didn't believe I'm as old as I said!! She kept saying 'hmmm' and looking at me suspiciously!!
It was rather delicious though :)
