Holiday Decorations

C and I don't go in for the traditional Christmas decorations. These deer have temporarily evicted the black birds from the right end of the mantel.

"Oh, the rising of the sun and the running of the deer" is why C put them up. She said the winter solstice and the ancient ways are dear to her -- a rare (and unintentional) pun.

I'm still not feeling very energetic and almost didn't blip today.
