The Bridge

I've been out almost all the hours of daylight, walking dogs in the fields, then my favourite bitch along the river, and took rather more photos than I could cope with. I managed to get 150 down to my favourite 12, and asked friends and family to help me choose. This won, which is funny because it is almost on my own doorstep, having walked many, many miles. We have never seen ice on the river before, and apparently, if one gets up for dawn one can see it breaking up as the warmer water comes flowing downstream. It is quite spectacular, and worth wrapping up for - lots of layers, and get out in the sun!
