Christmas day in Petra. I think there are worse places to be :-)

Photographywise.. Of course the first idea that sprigs to mind is to post the picture that has become the epitome of Petra visits. The one taken from within the Siq showing the first glimpses of the Treasury as seen between the narrow cleft of the stone walls. I have those photos now, on my hard drive, and the view was magnificent, but... I wanted to post something different. So here is another view from Petra.

So, here is the one free-standing building left in the area, 'Palace of the Pharaoh's daughter'. A nabatean temple from 1st century BC.
