Winter berries

Mum and I went on a long walk this morning to walk off the excesses of Christmas day and to take food for the ducks and other birds who are finding it really hard to feed at the moment because of all the snow. Took lots of photos on the way of the snow, geese, piglets and ice skaters on the frozen canal but I think I like this one the best. I took it when we got back to the cottage and these berries are growing round the front door, covered with frost. It's a bit of a cliche but then it is Christmas!
