Christmas Day

Lovely day with my family today. We couldn't spend last year together as my dad had had a serious accident and was in hospital (he's doing really well now). Also, the weather was so bad it wasn't possible for anyone to travel up or down the country so I really appreciated being with them all this year. I took this towards the end of the day when we were all feeling full, sleepy and content. I adore candlelight and love how beautiful it looks in photos with such a minimum amount of effort - perfect for when I'm too full of nut roast and chocolate to move from the sofa!
