Blipfoto at Edinburgh's Hogmanay

Hi Blippers. If you've been celebrating Christmas over the last few days, we hope you're finally finding some time to recover from your excesses, and building up a bit of strength in time for New Year's Eve.

If you're one of our many Scottish Blippers, you'll probably know that Blipfoto shares its hometown with the biggest Hogmanay party on Planet Earth. We've just teamed up with Edinburgh's Hogmanay to bring you some exclusive photo events during this year's celebrations, and throughout 2011.

If you're going to be enjoying Edinburgh's Hogmanay this year, make sure you tag your blips 'edhog'. Every tagged entry will be featured in a gallery on the official Edinburgh's Hogmanay website and the best will be shown on the big screens on the night, in front of 100,000 people. In January, the Edinburgh's Hogmanay team will chose their favourite photos and the lucky winners will receive free tickets to Edinburgh's Hogmanay 2011/12.

Note: it's important that you tag your images 'edhog' - if you don't we can't include them (and please only use this tag if the photo is somehow connected to Edinburgh's Hogmanay and you're happy for it to be used in the way described above).
