deep breath

After a visit to Fort Kinnaird shopping centre I felt the need to wander out across the sands at Musselburgh to take some deep breaths. The tide was as far out as I have ever seen it so I could walk right past the harbour entrance. It was satisfyingly quiet and bleak. I walked so far out along the sand banks I couldn't even hear the screams of the rest of the family locked in the car.

Back to reality now, Joe has challenged me to play his new skateboarding game. Apparently it involves standing on a mock skateboard and doing Oliver Hardy impersonations. I assume that's what is meant by "ollies"? There's also an "alley-oop" move that I sense I may be good at just from the name.
