Tuxlith Chapel
A mostly lazy day with a late afternoon walk in the increasingly dark and foggy woods to Tuxlith Chapel, which is located next door to the present Milland Church just over the border in Sussex. It's believed to date to the 11th century and to have been refurbished in the 15th century. It was enlarged and much altered in the 1830s but ceased to be used after the consecretation of the new church in 1879.
The chapel is owned by the Friends of Friendless Churches.
Well, feet up with a book for me this evening, with a probable interlude to watch Twilight:Eclipse with the boys. We're really getting into this vampire stuff now!
