Quiet Blipper

afternoon light

A cold blustery North wind blew all day, kicking up white caps in the usually calm harbour. The chilly air kept me inside most of the day. The lovely late afternoon light lured me out for this blip. Love the play of light on all the surfaces and the crisp black lines of the lantern against the soft background of the deck railings. While they look still in this image, the large conifers behind were moving through large arcs as the wind blasted through their highest branches.
