Coming in

Our plane; coming from Amsterdam and going back there too.

Check in at 07.30.
We were picked up at the hotel at 04.15 hrs and the 58 km. took 3 hours.
Not so bad, as the same trip a week before took 4 hours!
Traffic and roads at Sri Lanka are amazing.... :-)

A flight that took 11 hours, but when there are two small children who cry and scream independent of each other for 11 hours you've got a problem.
No one could stop them!
Pfff.
The cabin crew tried, the parents tried (not anymore, in the end) but nothing worked.
When one stopped, the other started. I
I pitied the poor parents...

Well, we are home at last!

Nine days ago we had a small delay because of this!
Three technicians were examining the engine; they were a bit agitated, it seemed.
Ten minutes later another technician arrived and a few moments later I saw somthing familiar happen!
Grinding and polishing of a turbine blade. Where did I see this before...
Must have been a small crack and the only thing to do then is polish it so it won't crack any further.

Well we did not crash after all.
