He's Behind You! AKA Super or Superficial

Well, I mentioned a while ago about the lovely things my friends had done for me before Xmas - tonight was the night of the Panto - two very fantastic friends got me and the girls tickets for Sleeping Beauty at Oldham Collisium.

I'm not a massive Panto fan - but I knew the girls would love it...but I had a brilliant time!!! Just a great show - with wonderful cast and singalong songs.

THEN - the cast did a shout out to "Kate the Librarian who's here with her girls" and I knew that my friend has organised that for us - to make the night even more special :D

Not ashamed to say that i did the whole arms in the air "Woo Hoo - we're over here" bit...think Lily was a bit mortified but I didn't care.

One of the songs was "Super or Superficial" and I did think about all the nice stuff and how kind people have been dureing this difficult time for me and the girls...and I thought how much more meanigful these wonderful gestures are...than investing time in a relationship that was merely superficial to the other person.

So, another bit of clarity on the situation and another step to closure.

This blip is dedicated to my lovely friends who made my night - even though they were'nt there to share it.
