No black clouds
I feel like our family has been under a black cloud this whole month, so today i woke up thinking I'd blip a black cloud.
In addition to the aforementioned stress of the absent daughter-in-law (in rehab), having a lot more childcare with the 2 girls, darling tho they are, dropping my iphone in the toilet, I have had a very badly pulled muscle in my chest since a really small fall at the island Dec 10th, (can't row a boat or pick up Fiona) and a few days before christmas my knee started acting up (from the same incident??) to the point that I had to use a cane to walk and succumbed to a very rare (for me) dr. visit for an xray yesterday(which was "normal"), right after H and I went to get our new prescription lenses put into our old glasses frames and they broke H's frame!! The replacement comes from Belgium and can't be sent til Jan 6. (?) We leave for Egypt Jan 14. Too close, besides he hates his old glasses. So today we went out and ordered a whole new pair which will be here tuesday.
More ice, tylenol and rest (problematic with Fiona around!) is prescribed for my knee/leg but I think it's better today so there is hope. H has fiona's cold.
So I looked for a black cloud to blip. There are NO clouds, black or white or grey. This clear blue sky shot is taken from my roof deck with a new inexpensive wide angle adapter - a bit of distortion, I see -and the mountains would have looked better behind the bridge earlier in the day (or with a telephoto)...
The moral of the story - sometimes that black cloud will just go away - I am done complaining for 2010(sorry!) and will look forward to a much brighter 2011 soon!
