Eagle in British Columbia

Today on the last day of 2010 we drove to Vancouver, B.C. to stay in a hotel for 2 nights with our son P, Tatum and Fiona. P will go to the program at the rehab center tomorrow while we play with the girls in Vancouver and then they will go visit their Mom on sunday.

The totem stands outside the entry to the hotel, below the late afternoon sun - it looks like the Eagle might be illuminating the trees. One of the attributes of the eagle in nw coast native art is peace so this is my good wish for everyone for 2011.

The ball is about to fall in NYC....Happy new Year!!
