Sparkly

New Years Eve on Caroline Bay, damp evening unfortunatly, but the fireworks lived up to expectations. A very pleasant evening, dinner then watched (whilst getting wet) the free concert, then a wander around the carnival before getting our position for the display.....evening finished off with coffee and waffles around 1pm. Have since decided that coffee at 1am does not bode for a good nights sleep!!!

Having a quiet one today, family of four decending on us tomorrow for a couple of nights, will keep me on my toes.

Waitaki River still in high volumn flood and phones calls persistant.
