Have you seen the time?

Today I mainly played with Dad, as Mum was on a mission to clean the house. She also had soup and breadsticks to make for our New Year's Day dinner at Gran and Papa's house. It is traditional to have steak pie on New Year's Day in our family. Gran did the steak pie (very tasty it was too, thanks very much Mum!). My favourite bit was the green beans - I was even taking them out of the bowl and eating them. When it was time for pudding, I was singing, "ice cream is coming". After dinner, we watched a bit of the Indiana Jones film (everyone's least favourite, apparently) and I played with my Peppa playground and my sticklebricks. I also read a book about numbers. I didn't do much reading, but I did sing a song:

One-two-three-four-five, once I caught a fish alive.
Six-seven-eight-nine-ten, then I let it go again.
Why did you let it go, cos it bit my finger so.
Which finger did it bite, this little finger on my right.
