Cartmel Priory

The 800-year-old church that was founded as part of Cartmel Priory has many interesting details of masonry and carving but always strikes me as being somewhat inelegant architecturally - this shot doesn't flatter it much, as if bits of three different churches were being lumped together in a haphazard way. There may be a more meaningful way of capturing the whole thing from a better angle, but I've not found it...
