No Bulging Ripples
A day, probably the first for some time, when I had no appointments, visits, or errands to do that couldn't wait. Bliss!
Went out for another walk. My No.1 and I went along the canal. I hadn't appreciated quite how cold it was and my ears were freezing as the wind howled through them.
The canal was still mostly frozen. Only the sections under the bridges had thawed. We passed the local Rugby club and this shot just shaded the turnstiles.
Rugby has always appeared to me to be such a brutal sport, yet I always tried to get tickets for the then 4 Nations matches. As a 20 something, I was often haunted by the tauntness of a rugby players bulging muscles. Why then am I surrounded by men and boys who would choose football as their first sport.
I like the way the portholes in this boat reflect the shapes and colours in the building behind. The barge is available for private corporate hire. Can't think why you would want to eat on a boat though. Water and eating don't ever sit well with me.
