Peaks and Troughs
Woke in a definite trough. Terrible nausea. Got the kids breakfast then they kindly let me snooze the morning away.
We had to head out for food shopping, and managed to pick up a new card reader too. Lots of backblipping:
Thursday: New Year's quiz
Friday: New Year, grown up style
Saturday: The joy that is Shandy
Sunday: a big snowy hill
Today's shot, by the way, is the Alberes - the range of hills that is the tail end of the Pyrenees as they fall off into the Mediterranean. Running across the scene is the new high speed rail route into Spain, which all are hoping will revitalise this region.
New Year's Resolutions so far:
1. Eat more fish (sorry fish).
2. Use the word 'lovely' less.
3. Use favourites on blip as more than a way of bookmarking recipes or other info.
Best not to be too ambitious.
