Bottles!

It's the time for New Year Resolutions - but I read somewhere that instead of giving something up, a positive way to improve your life is to take something up.

Now, anyone who knows me - knows I like to do a bit of crafting! And this is where I keep all those sequins, googly eyes and buttons that me and the girls use when we are feeling creative!

I dug all these bottles up myself - from an old mill site - where the incinerator was I'm presuming. I spent many an hour cleaning them out - but it was nice and relaxing at a stressful time.

I would like to take up a nice hobby - I did buy a mini sewing machine last year because I thought "sewing crafty bits? making patchwork Owls*.. How hard can it be?" The answer was very hard! I'm clearly not a natural.

So maybe that's what I need to take up in 2011.

Lily bought me a patchwork owl for Christmas. Not sure she was confident of my sewing abilities either
