Dear Diaries

Today, on the first day back at work, tradition dictates that I have to start my new dairy.

Usually get a big corporate one..but couldn't find one in the building so nipped out to pick one up. Realised when I got to the shop that actually, this year I would need 2 so I can put the arrangements for the girls in one - where they'll be, who with and for how long.

Bummer - Really hoped I would never have to go through all this palaver again (did it for long time with Lily's dad and was so pleased when she was old enough to sort it out herself)

But! and I always like to look on the positive side, I have not needed to vent in my 'other' journal. I took to writing down *everything* I felt about the last few months, the good, bad, sad and frankly probably quite slanderous thoughts and feelings.

Write it down, let it all out - then shut the journal and take a deep breath. It works.

I take a peek in there sometimes - and it does look like the ramblings of a mad woman - so I'm hoping now I'm at least a bit more serene and at peace with the world!

Dear Diary
today I went to work embracing my Inner Librarian Goddess. High heels, pencil skirt and sheer blouse.
High heels in snowy Oldham - my Inner Goddess was almost on her backside more than once. But, today my Fairy God( ex Mother in Law ) gave me some money for my Xmas pressie. A wonderful, lovely surprise - so I purchased another sheer blouse and some high wedge boots. So I can embrace the loveliness without risking my neck.
