thick ice

Went for a walk to Blackford Pond with the kids this morning to meet friends.

The ice is till really thick and it is very tempting to step onto it but I did not. I'll wait for more cold weather and the next snow and will still not step onto it. Or maybe just a little bit? Not with kids around though...
