Walkies!

Philip and the girls went for a wee walk around the village today with our Westie, Lewis. It's been the first decent walk the poor wee dug has had in about a week with all the Christmas and New Year festivities. Another resolution to add to our growing list - ensure the dog is taken for decent walks...

The girls decided to have a rest on the big stone that commemorates the Battle of Barra just on the outskirts of Oldmeldrum. Philip took a photo of the sign beside the stone explaining about Robert the Bruce and all that jazz - wish I could remember what it said to enlighten you all! Nice stone though and a very effective seat for two wee girls.
