Smile, Please?

Our wee boy is going through the delightful toddler phase of gurning like an auld man whenever a camera is pointed at him. He invariably screws up his eyes like he is staring into the sun and bares his teeth although preparing for battle. Tonight I managed to get him to keep his eyes open whilst I took this photo.

And what eyes they are...beautiful blue-grey pools and thick black eyelashes.

Not entirely sure what his expression conveys? Confusion? Apprehension? The complete lack of self awareness that comes with being nearly 3?

Or perhaps shock that I am 100% on target with my blipping resolution (even if it is only day 5).
