A Toast

Well there you go, the start to another year and again, another cracker day. Simply fab weather so far, with the dominant wind from the Northeast, perfect for our bay.

With new guests arriving today it was again a bit of a tidy-up/jobs day.

Then around lunch Michael and family arrived, lots of noise and fun as the posse of 5 kids got together. Great to see them having fun.

Thoughts of a dive, but lack of enthusiasm (relaxing sounded good) and lots of laying on the beach.

Late afternoon with some good wind (from the Southwest this time) I headed out sailing. What a blast, it got stronger until it hit around 20 knots, right at the time I had finished tacking out and was headed (downwind) back in. What a ride! 2 very close capsizes, very humbling, and very exhilarating.

Great dinner with all the families. Summer is good!
