Misty Summer Landscape
The hot weather has brought on grain crops a little early. There are many like this turning gold. Just visible is the arc of a field irrigator.
In front are the black bones of a burnt-out gorse hedge, a casualty of a stubble burn-off in the past. Already young gorse plants are growing. Fire is a catalyst for seed germination.
Best in large.
